About Wimberley Puzzle Company
Wimberley Puzzle Company makes wooden jigsaw puzzles from founder JB Manning's landscape photography, founded in Wimberley, Texas in 2017.
Heritage & History
The idea for the Wimberley Puzzle Company came to founder JB Manning in 2014 while waiting for light in Glacier National Park's Many Glacier region, after he had mailed a postcard cut into jigsaw puzzle pieces. After years of market, product, and materials research, the Wimberley Puzzle Company was born in 2017.
The puzzles feature a hand-selected collection of Manning's own landscape photography from trips across the United States, including the bluebonnets of Texas and numerous national parks. In October 2018, Manning and his dog Rio moved the company's wide-format printer and laser cutter into an RV to make puzzles on the road.
Made in Wimberley, Texas
Wimberley Puzzle Company crafts its wooden jigsaw puzzles in the town of Wimberley, Texas, rooted in what the company calls 'small-town values.' Puzzles are cut using a laser cutter and printed on a wide-format printer that has also traveled with the company's mobile RV workshop.
The company describes its puzzles as heirloom-quality, crafted from premium 1/8-inch Baltic Birch wood and packaged in a bespoke wooden box designed to resemble a book. Each puzzle captures the beauty of America's diverse landscapes as photographed and designed by founder JB Manning.
