Heritage & History
Queen Majesty Hot Sauce was founded by Erica, who began making her own hot sauce years before the brand's founding after growing bored with mass-produced brands and their ingredients, drawing on the way her Sicilian grandmother made sauce — slow-cooking whole, fresh ingredients in small batches. The company has been handcrafting hot sauce in Queens, New York City since 2013.
Since launching, Queen Majesty has become one of the most recognized names in the craft hot sauce world, with its sauces featured on the YouTube series Hot Ones four times (Seasons 3, 4, 17, and 26) and earning multiple awards. The company remains a small-batch, 100% woman-owned, self-funded business more than a decade after its founding.
Made in Queens, New York City
Queen Majesty sauces are handcrafted at the company's headquarters in Long Island City, in Queens, New York. Every bottle is made without sugar, xanthan gum, or preservatives, combining fresh hot peppers with whole garlic, real citrus juice, bell peppers, and extra virgin olive oil.
The company says its small-batch approach — slow-cooking whole, fresh ingredients rather than mass production — preserves more of the nutrients, color, and flavor in the finished sauce, a philosophy the founder ties directly to the diverse culinary landscape of New York City.
