Heritage & History
Write Notepads & Co. was brought to life in 2012 by Chris Rothe, a third-generation bookbinder working in Baltimore, Maryland. Rothe set out to fill a gap he saw in the market: high-quality, American-made notebooks with heavy, smooth paper that could hold ink from a fountain pen without bleeding through, paired with clean, minimalist design.
The company has grown from that original notebook into a broader line of paper goods, notepads, and stationery, all made with the same emphasis on premium materials and professional design. Write Notepads & Co. positions its notebooks as tools for retaining knowledge and sparking ideas in an era dominated by digital devices.
