Ruffwear was founded in 1994 in Bend, Oregon by Patrick Kruse, who saw a gap in the market for performance-oriented dog gear designed for serious outdoor use. Performance Gear for Active Dogs
Ruffwear's product line covers the gear needs of outdoor dogs: the Front Range and Web Master harnesses for hiking and trail running, the Grip Trex boots with Vibram outsoles for paw protection on hot pavement and rough terrain, and the Approach pack for dogs that carry their own supplies on backpacking trips.
